The Western Foyer services three performance spaces: the Playhouse, Drama Theate and the Studio.

Utzon Architects in collaboration with Johnson Pilton Walker are currently working on the interiors of the Western Foyer.

The design opens up the combined foyers with access and views to the Western Boardwalk and harbour.

For the first time since the building opened in 1973, patrons experience entering the Western Foyer theatres while always being oriented in the spectacular harbour setting of the Sydney Opera House.
