The First Emperor Exhibition
The First Emperor: China's entombed warriors presented over 120 rare objects, including ten complete terracotta warrior figures including foot soldiers, generals, kneeling bowmen and horses that have rarely been seen outside China.
Christopher Allen reviewing the exhibition for The Australian, December 2010, commented:
"The opening and indeed the whole installation demonstrates the power of good exhibition design to lead the viewer into the experience of works and to shape the order and pace of the encounter, as well as creating an ambience conducive to attention and sympathetic to the quality of the material displayed."
