The competition winning design which extends along the length of Anzac Parade forms a “guard of honour” by day whilst the paired luminaires supported from each pole create a "halo" effect to each light that emphasises the graceful catenary curve of the Parade leading up to the Australian War Memorial from Lake Burley Griffin along the Land Axis.
