University of New South Wales
The Physics Lawn has a strong geometric and simple design and provides the physical setting for the building within the overall University landscape. The landscape design also provides a pleasant ‘local’ landscape in and around the building for the benefit of the building’s occupants.

A complex project which required the integration of an overland flow path with several pedestrian and vehicular routes whilst remaining accessible

To allow for the overland flow path a low ‘ha-ha’ wall was installed which, whilst it provides sufficient cross section for the hydraulic engineers’ requirements, is more or less invisible in the view to the main building from the approaches
