Anzac Memorial Centenary Extension is open to the public

The new underground spaces of the Anzac Memorial Centenary Project are now open to the public. The Duke of Sussex unveiled the new addition on 20 October 2018 ahead of a public opening event held on 11 November 2018, a fitting tribute to mark the Centenary of the Armistice. The new addition includes exhibition and education spaces as well as new artworks conceived by Fiona Hall also featuring soils collected from 1701 New South Wales locations listed as places of enlistment during World War I. The Anzac Memorial is open every day, except Good Friday and Christmas Day, from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
